Use PayPal Here, Stripe, and Dwolla

Note: This article is intended for the stand-alone Get Paid product that is now a tier of GoDaddy Online Bookkeeping. As such, some of these instructions may not apply to your Online Bookkeeping account.

Online Bookkeeping - Get Paid will help you accept payments whether you see your customers face-to-face or if you bill your customers using invoices with PayPal Here, Stripe and Dwolla. Check out the differences between the three payment options.

PayPal Here

PayPal Here is a mobile card reader that lets you swipe your customers' credit cards. Your payments will be distributed directly into a PayPal account that you manage.

If you do not already have a PayPal Here account, you'll get a PayPal Here card swiper for free when you set up an Online Bookkeeping - Get Paid account. (PayPal activation is optional.)

Stripe

Stripe is an online payments solution for accepting credit cards. Online Bookkeeping - Get Paid uses Stripe credit card processing to accept online credit card payments for invoices.

Dwolla

Dwolla is an online payment solution to process bank payments (ACH). Dwolla transfers funds from your customer bank accounts to your bank accounts (checking or savings.) The best part is that it only charges a $0.25 flat fee, regardless of the dollar amount transferred. This is particularly useful for invoice payments of large amounts because other processors (PayPal, Stripe, etc.) charge upwards of 2.9% for processing.

Note: Your clients do not need to have a Dwolla account to pay you through their bank. They may simply check out as a "Guest."
